Earlier this year, we were asked by London based, cloud computing company Elastacloud to be involved in their user interface design.
“We provide managed parallelised execution of excel workbooks in the cloud. If you have an excel workbook full of complex formulae that takes 24hrs to run, we’ll do it in 1 hr by using 24 cloud based compute nodes.”
An unusual project, but fun nonetheless!
We designed all of the icons (buttons) to be used within an Excel Plugin supplied by Elastacloud.
After some great communication, along with a clear list of ideas from our clients, we managed to produce a professional icon set that met all the needs of our Elastacloud clients.
